Professional Career

Dr. Knoop, born 1961 in Flensburg in Northern Germany, started after Medical School at Kiel University and  a Postdoc-Fellowship in Manchester, UK, funded by the German Research Council, his surgical education and career at the Charite in Berlin (Prof. Dr. P. Neuhaus, Virchow Clinics), one of the most prestigious surgical university departments of Germany.
